Action to be Taken to Reduce Risk

Company Heat Stress Prevention & Control Program (working timing, cool drinking water, carbo-hydro-electrolyte drinks, shelter, Heat Stress awareness & training, etc.)
Extended break time during the summer period.
Working following the National Regulations.
Reduced working hours as directed by Ministry of Labor Holy Month of Ramadan.
Provision of food and drinks for non-fasting employees during Ramadan.
Competent Supervision to be provided
Selection of personnel based on the project work requirements.
Pre-employment medical screening and surveillance.
Incentive program.
Safety signs, notice boards (to be provided in the language understood by the majority of the workforce
HSE Induction and Training
Safety campaigns
No one will be allowed to enter the site area without
collection of data on the security gate.
A visitor’s induction procedure would always be performed at the security gate.
Induction stickers, visitor’s badges would be provided at the security gate to the visitors.
Unauthorized, forceful entrance will be reported to the management immediately without any delay.
Emergency contact numbers will be posted at the security gate room to contact in case of an emergency.
The site access gate would be controlled by the trained security staff.
Subcontractors to be properly managed as per Company procedure and regulatory requirements.
The documented policies and management system of the Main Contractor to be observed.
An analysis should be carried out to measure that the subcontractor meets the minimum standards of the organization.
Only trained and qualified / authority approved subcontractors should be hired.
Subcontractors with skilled labour should be given preference.
Regular meetings and proper communication with sub contractors.
