Description

Risk Assessment for Use of a cement mixer:

1. Ensure that only those persons who are competent to use the mixer and authorized are permitted to use it;
2. Ensure that the mixer is set up on the firm-level ground;
3. Ensure that visual checks of the mixer are carried out before use, to identify any obvious damage;
4. If required complete the weekly inspection register;
5. Ensure that all machine guards are in place and that covers are placed over the engine and belts when it is working;
