Risk Assessment for Use of Disk Cutters:

1. Operators must be trained and competent to use disc cutters;
2. Segregate your work area with barriers and signage;
3.  Remove or cover any flammable materials in the near vicinity;
4. Keep leads tidy and avoid areas where they may cause a trip hazard. Where possible hang   leads above head height;
5. Always have a fire extinguisher close to where you are working;
